We have invested in a new CNC machining center to provide even faster and more flexible mechanical machining of work pieces weighing up to twelve tons. The machine itself is equipped with a Haidenhein TNC 530 I, which allows for convenient programming at the workshop. NC programs for complex contours or machining steps are created on external CAM workstations and transferred online via machine control. This approach ensures a high degree of production accuracy coupled with equally high production speeds. This is also supported by the tool changer with a total of 60 spaces and by the controlled cross-staff head, which can also be automatically replaced. This option significantly expands machining bandwidth within a particular setting.
