The new EschmannStahl thermal treatment concept is based around a vacuum chamber furnace system and two vacuum tempering furnaces, one of which is equipped with a gas nitriding unit.




This allows EschmannStahl to create the conditions that guarantee the highest quality, especially for precision components highly susceptible to distortion. Optimum material properties are a key criterion when it comes to ensuring the reliability and service life of tools and components. EschmannStahl offers a wide range of thermal treatment options:

Combined with the high availability of all grades of tool steel and mechanical pre-treatment, heat treatment significantly reduces processing times. The range of thermal treatment processes at EschmannStahl is rounded out by effective cooling. Controlled directional cooling ensures optimum adjustment to the particular tool to be processed.
