ES Aktuell HSW

Special CrMoV hot-work steel with excellent high-temperature strength and better toughness properties than 1.2344 as well as higher thermal conductivity than the classic hot-work steels 1.2343, 1.2344 and 1.2367. Compared to the NiCrMoV grades 1.2711/1.2714, ES Aktuell HSW is characterized by higher wear resistance, comparable to 1.2343.

General usage: Small and medium-sized dies and die inserts for a large number of forgings.

Small and medium-sized molds and mold inserts for processing abrasive thermosets, thermoplastics, or composite materials, possibly in combination with surface finishing.
